Vienna is one of the cultural capitals of Europe and its annual cultural calendar is packed with concerts, festivals and balls. For music alone, there are hundreds of concerts per year catering to locals as well as music lovers from all over the world. In our Vienna album, we walked in the footsteps of Mozart, visited Schonbrunn Palace and imagined how splendid it would be to be waltzing around its exquisite ballrooms and attended some of the concerts that are available around town.

Right in the city centre is the magnificent St. Stephen's Cathedral. We also went in search of the sacher torte, but others might prefer Austria's famous strudells and pastries or experience its wine pubs or 'heurigen'.

We did the Sound of Music tour and visited the Mirabell Gardens and all the famous film locations. This is very popular with Americans and one couple told us that they saw the film 10 times! This album also includes some of our Europe river cruise stops like Melk and Durnstein.

Austria has so many famous citizens and whether your interested in the theories of Sigmund Freud, Formula 1 racing and Niki Lauda or Arnie Schwarzenegger that there is something to tickle everyone's interests.
