Arriving and Departing Paris by Air

Transfers by Train:

From the Charles de Gaulle airport, the least expensive way to get into Paris is on the RER-B line (Réseau express régional), the suburban express train. Each terminal has an exit where the free RER shuttle bus (a white and yellow bus with the letters ADP in gray) passes every 7-15 minutes to take you on a short ride to the nearby RER station (see below).

You need to buy a 2nd Class ticket to Paris (€8) from the machines or ticket office. Once you get into Paris, the RER connects directly to the métro, so you can simply change trains and go directly to your destination without buying another ticket.

But, you will have to carry your luggage down to the train tracks, and trains will be crowded if you are travelling during rush hour. I do not recommend this if you are heavily laden.

• There is direct access to RER airport stations, Aéroport Charles-de Gaulle 1 and Aéroport Charles-de Gaulle 2-TGV, from all métro stations and the RER B.
• An SNCF Information Point (7/7-7am-7pm) is situated on the RER B platform (in the direction of the airport) at Gare du Nord station.

The Aéroports de Paris shuttles provide a free link between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, the reduced cost car parks, PR and PX, and Roissypôle Bus station.
