Eyewitness Travel Guides: Morocco (Eyewitness Travel Guides, 400pp Sep 2004)I travelled all over Morocco when I was taking overland trips in Africa in the early '70's, but a lot's changed since then - although not the roads...! This guide covers all the usual bases and a few more. I wish I'd had the maps and illustrations earlier, I found out quite a bit of stuff I never knew! Great photographs, and a mouthwatering food section (the food seemed to have improved out of all recognition when I visited again in 2000). |

Lonely Planet Morocco (Morocco, 8th Ed) Feb 2007If you want more of a backpacker's guide to Morocco, this is as up-to-date as you get currently. Covers the country with the advantage of being light. But naturally lacks the beautiful photos, explanatory diagrams and 3D maps of the Eyewitness guide. Full of practical info, though, and a good chapter on cuture. |
