The Dinosaurs have arrived Castel Romano…

Bargain hunters go to Castel Romano to hunt for designer fashion labels that are dinosaurs in the international world of fashion.  Now, a different type of dinosaur has arrived at Castel Romano!

Visitors to this very popular Rome designer outlet can now discover the most important skeletal T-Rex ever found: 13 meters long and 4 high, the faithful reproduction of STAN!

Castel Romano is hosting the largest Italian equivalent of this type in the reconstruction of an archaeological site by Black Hills Institute of Geological Research, renowned worldwide for their excellent fossil preparation and restoration skills.

Children and adults can enter into the fascinating world of dinosaurs and follow the traces of the past.  According to the Black Hill Institute, the story of STAN, the Tyrannosaurus rex,  apparently began some 65 million years ago in the heart of what is known today as North America.  By studying the earth, along with fossil bones and plants, scientists can piece together a picture of what life was like then – and how this largest carnivore to walk the Earth lived out his days.  Some pretty awesome stuff to discover on your trip out to Castel Romano.

Visitors can also enjoy STAN™ PARK and there’ll be many books and dinosaur-themed toys on sale – the tents are located in Piazza del Foro Romano, in front of the T-Rex.
