Arriving by Air
Paris has two major and one secondary airports:

• Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
  Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) also known as Roissy, is 26 km (16 miles) northeast of Paris. You can get to central Paris by RER train, bus, door-to-door shuttle, or taxi.

• Orly Airport
  Orly Airport is 16 km (10 miles) south of the city. You can get to central Paris by train or bus, with connections to the RER and Métro.

• Beauvais Airport
  Paris Beauvais Airport is located north of Beauvais at Tillé, about 60 km from Paris. You can get to and from Paris by bus, door-to-door shuttle, taxi/train and taxi.

Arriving by Train
Paris has six international railway stations.

Arriving by Bus
This usually means arriving by Eurolines bus, the largest international bus company in Europe.

Arriving by Car
Getting to Paris is easy, getting out is another thing completely! Basically you'll be funnelled in to "La périférique extérieur", the outside ring road.

Arriving by Boat or Ferry
In other words, crossing the English Channel, or "La Manche" as the French call it. You'll only be doing this if you're getting the rest of the way by car, bus or train, so check those sections as well.
