Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals area of both terminal buildings. On a good day, the journey into central Paris will take around 25-35 minutes, depending on traffic. Always use official Paris ORY airport taxi cabs for safety reasons and to avoid being overcharged; the fare is generally between €15 and €45.

The airport taxi meters in Paris start at a basic fare, but additional charges are usually made for luggage, late-night driving and travel on public holidays, so ask the taxi driver about these before leaving. Some Paris airport taxis are happy to accept credit cards.

But remember: taxis are rather expensive and not much faster than public transport. If you’re travelling at rush hour, taxis will definitely be slower than public transport!
