At a height of 62 metres, Wellington Testimonial is the tallest obelisk in Europe. The Testimonial is in memory of Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington. An interesting feature of the Testimonial is the four bronze plaques which are cast from cannons captured at Waterloo.
