Home / France / Paris - "City of Light" / Ile de la Cité 21
The Île de la Cité is one of two islands in the Seine within the city of Paris (the other is the Île Saint-Louis next to it). It's where Paris as we know it was founded, and the cathedral of Notre Dame is located here, along with the Palais de Justice, Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie.
